Compiler Profile
Kim Hunggyu is professor emeritus of Korean Literature at Korea University, where he received his Ph.D in Korean Literature. As a literary critic and renowned scholar of Korean literature, he authored a number of books and articles on both classical and modern Korean literature. He specializes in the study of traditional Korean poetry. His work Understanding Korean Literature has been translated and published in America. He co-authored A History of Korean Literature, which was published by Cambridge University Press in 2003.
