Directed by Yang Yun Ho (Rainbow Eyes), Grand Prix is an inspiring sports drama set in the world of horse racing. Popular actress Kim Tae Hee (The Restless) is the unlikely heroine of this comeback story, with Yang Dong Geun (Fighter in the Wind) co-starring in the mentor role. Grand Prix captures the thrills, trials, and triumphs of racing through the experiences of a determined female jockey. Jockey Joo Hee (Kim Tae Hee) quits horse racing after injuring her arm and losing her horse in a terrible accident. She heads to Jeju Island to get away from it all, but she ends up meeting a fellow jockey, Woo Seok (Yang Dong Geun). A former Japan Cup champion, Woo Seok is also going through a tough slump. With his support and encouragement, Joo Suk finds the courage to return to the racetrack for the Grand Prix. |
